Our company's founder, Mr. Hasan UZUNADAM, established his business in 1980 as someone involved in electrical contracting works in Mersin. He set up his workplace in a location close to the Mersin industrial zone. At that time, Mersin was experiencing significant migration and constant urban growth. As someone closely following this growth, activities were specifically carried out to meet the electrical needs of residences. The market was broad, and the number of competitors was almost negligible. Therefore, in 1997, feeling the need to formalize the business, the individual enterprise became a company, and in the same year, our company, Tolmen Elektrik İnşaat Ltd.Şti, was registered with the Mersin Trade Registry.
Since 2007, as the second-generation manager, Mr. Serkan UZUNADAM has taken on the role of General Manager in the management of the business. From this date onwards, in order to diversify the projects and recognizing a market gap, our company decided to sell lighting products in early 2009. In line with this goal, a store with an area of 500m2 was opened on Adnan Menderes Boulevard in Mersin. The reason for opening the store was to highlight the lighting product needs of the end consumer after our company completed the electrical infrastructure and to make our customers aware that proper lighting is more than just a necessity.
Since 2014, the decision was made to participate in public infrastructure tenders in Group B, and many infrastructure construction projects have been completed in various cities in Turkey. Our company has presented constructions in various fields, from school construction to soup kitchens, sports halls, slaughterhouses, overpasses, and Solar Power Plants.
As a matter of principle, our company completes all its projects with the use of quality materials and the support of experienced subcontractors.
In 2022, Tolmen continues its investments in the housing sector under the names Tolmen Gaia, Tolmen Arkhe, and Tolmen Kronos. In these three projects, a total of 57 residences will be produced, and a total of 7000m2 of construction will be completed.
